Priming
What Is It?
Psychology Today defines Priming as a phenomenon in which exposure to one stimulus influences how a person responds to a subsequent, related stimulus.
Simply put Priming is using words and/or activities that lift your energy to change your state of mind so you can accomplish more. Creating a priming routine gives you more energy and shifts your vibration so you can bring more into your life through the laws of attraction & vibration.
Tony Robbins uses Priming every day and he shares his morning routine with you. He says “You can learn to change your state of mind by changing your physical state with an effective priming routine. You can learn to use repetition priming to create positive associations and use the Law of Attraction to get what you want in life.”
There are many ways you can use Priming to shift your energy and your vibration to create the life of your dreams. Beginning your day with a priming routine first thing in the morning is the perfect way to assure you have a more productive day. It helps you stay with your routine, trains your brain to be open to positive thoughts and ideas and sets you up for success each day.
10 Easy Steps to Creating a Priming Routine:
1.Schedule It: Make yourself a priority by scheduling time for your priming ritual every day.
2.Sit: Find a place where you can sit comfortably and be undisturbed. Have pen, paper and some inspirational or motivational things to read.
3.Read: Spend a few minutes reading something inspirational or motivational.
4.Breathe: Place your hand on your heart and breathe deeply into your heart. Send the energy of Love and Light to your heart.
5.Gratitude: Practice gratitude by either writing a gratitude letter. The written word has power so write it if you can but if you can’t think of 3 things you are grateful for. They can be from your past, something happening now and have at least one thing be something you want in your future seeing it as done. Pour energy into these things by feeling deeply grateful.
6.Out Loud: Read your letter or speak the things you are grateful for out loud. Let the energy of gratitude fill your heart and allow that energy to expand throughout your whole body. When you say something out loud you anchor into your subconscious.
7.Visualize: Close your eyes and see the things you want to experience in your mind’s eye. Imagine as much detail as you can using all your senses, and see it “as if” it is already happening in your life.
8.Celebrate: After you visualize your goal as complete rejoice in it’s manifestation. Feel the joy, the satisfaction and the good it will bring to you and to others. Allow those feelings to fill you up and shout out loud celebrating with as much energy as you can. See the energy of joy flowing from you out into the world.
9.Listen: When you declare to the Universe something you want to experience that hasn’t happened yet it creates an incongruency in your mind which your mind does not want. It will begin to look for ways to become congruent, to make it real and make it happen. That can come through your intuition, hunches, new ideas and opportunities. Listen carefully and pay attention.
10.Take Action: Follow your intuition, pay attention to the ideas, hunches and opportunities that arise and take action. Action creates momentum which moves you into more.
